COMMENTARY

11/17/2013 1:00PM - RECAP: Buffalo showing they are a squad to contend with, putting up a remarkable total of 39.9 points over the helpless Central Park, aided by their high wind speeds near the Great Lakes. Washington D.C. had a great performance against Philadelphia, scoring 25.2 - second only behind Buffalo. Worcester, JFK Airport, and Pittsfield rounds up the top 5 and all posted wins over their opponents.
11/16/2013 10:30PM - @NEXWL: 1st week coming to a close! Looks like Windsor Locks escapes with a win vs. Boston by 0.2 points! WL's high temp of 60° beating out B's 59°!
11/16/2013 12:05PM - The first week of preseason is almost in the books! Today should be another quiet day in terms of the weather and the scoring. Boston and Windsor Locks are locked (pun intended) in a fierce battle. Only a tenth of a point separates between the two. It's pretty remarkable how their scores for each day are so similar... wow.
11/14/2013 9:35AM - No other way to say it...Buffalo is crushing Central Park. Meanwhile, Philadelphia and Washington D.C. are offering a more spirited battle...only 0.4 points separate them with 3 days to go. Boston-Windsor Locks and Rutland-Portland are also a tight contest in which the balance can swing either way. No substantial rain in the forecast for the Northeast until Saturday night and Sunday, so temps and wind speeds are all important.
11/12/2013 9:35AM - The second day saw Buffalo laying a big blow to Central Park, scoring 15.5 points by far the most out of the 32 locations. While Buffalo is 1st in points, Central Park is dead last and has a ton of ground to make up. Pittsfield and Syracuse traded days and are both tied, tied for 2nd in total points after Buffalo. Should be an interesting game to follow.
11/11/2013 10:45AM - Results for the first day of the preseason are in! Scattered rain and snow showers and winds yesterday helped boost points. Syracuse scored the most out of the 32 competitors, by scoring 9.6 points after the first day.
11/10/2013 4:40PM - @NEXWL: A few passing showers moved through today, even snow in NNE! Every 1/100" of precip counts for 0.2 points towards the score. Results on Mon!
11/9/2013 3:15PM - The preseason starts tomorrow! Updated scores are posted here for each day from Sunday to Saturday. The scores are the red numbers. Click on a city name for the F-6 data that will be used. Good luck and root for your favorite city!
